Sorath graduated from Sukkur IBA University with a specialization in Mathematics and Physics. Her undergraduate research focused on “Exploring Language Ideologies of English Language Teachers in EMO Schools, Sukkur.” She then pursued an M.Phil. in Pakistan Studies at Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad, where her research examined “Exploring Teachers’ Perceptions of the Impacts of the 2022 Floods on Educational Recovery.”
Sorath teaches Social Studies pedagogy courses at the Government Elementary College of Education, Hussainabad.
