Yasmin was associated with the Generations School for nearly 24 years as an Urdu teacher. She has designed curricula for private schools and has authored over 350 storybooks for young children. Additionally, she has written textbooks for students from pre-nursery to class five.
Yasmin is also a distinguished storyteller and regularly participates in داستان گوئی (the ancient art of Urdu storytelling) at conferences and other events.
Yasmin teaches Urdu pedagogy courses at the Government Elementary College of Education, Hussainabad.
